Campaign to Promote Collaboration Among Clients and Project Teams for a Full-Service Interior Design Firm
My Role: As the Marketing Manager for StudioSIX5, I developed this campaign with a dual purpose: to rejuvenate the StudioSIX5 brand and to connect with potential clients. It was also essential to underscore StudioSIX5's mission, which is to create interior environments that celebrate life.
Challenge: The campaign's abstract nature piqued interest but required messaging that was straightforward and comprehensible to ensure clarity for the end users.
Solution: The single word "Create" didn't fully convey the message. Therefore, we expanded the campaign slogan to "Connect. Create. Celebrate." By adding "Connect" and "Celebrate," we provided a more comprehensive context. "CREATE" serves as an invitation for innovation and collaboration among clients, architects, property managers, builders, and general contractors. This collaborative initiative aims to bring exceptional spaces to life, connecting their missions to craft memorable and marketable experiences for residents to celebrate.
Application: The project involved a comprehensive refresh of the company's brand guidelines, the creation of a new recruiting package for tradeshows, and the development of a targeted email campaign for tradeshows and newsletters. Additionally, we designed new tradeshow materials, a social media package, and updated the website and client interview presentation to reflect these enhancements.

StudioSIX5 is a full-service commercial interior design firm that partners with Architects, Developers, Operators, and Property Managers. Together, they bring exceptional spaces to life for communities across various sectors.
This campaign is more than just an invitation; it's a call to action. The aim is to engage and collaborate with creators who share our passion for crafting memorable and marketable interiors. The focus spans Senior Living, Multifamily, Hospitality, and Student Housing developments.
Career Fairs
During the career fair, we set out to captivate the imaginations of interior designers with the aim of attracting top-tier creative talent. By acknowledging their unique perspectives and celebrating their collaborative spirit, we are confident that we are nurturing an environment where creativity and innovation can flourish
This campaign featured an array of thoughtfully selected swag items designed to make a lasting impression. These included stylish totes, vibrant stickers, and a set of colored pencils, all accompanied by portable table-top banners for easy transportation. Additionally, we amplified our reach with strategic social media announcements and an informative recruitment booklet.
CREATE Campaign Brand Refresh
Leadership at StudioSIX5 initiated a brand standards refresh in conjunction with the launch of the CREATE campaign. To invigorate the brand, accent colors were meticulously selected from the campaign’s vibrant paint splatter design and seamlessly integrated into our marketing collateral and website. The CREATE campaign's visual identity was applied across all touchpoints, including business cards, the website, newsletters, letterheads, and email signatures, ensuring a cohesive and dynamic brand experience.
DDC Journal Ad
The DDC Journal stands as a leading publication tailored for professionals in design, development, and construction. Recognizing this, we believed this ad space would offer an unparalleled opportunity to engage with fellow innovators and excellence-driven individuals within the industry.
Highlighted in this advertisement is Harbor's Edge, a luxury community strategically located on the vibrant harbor of Hampton Roads waterfront in Norfolk, Virginia. You can find the ad here on page 44.
WAM National Conference
The Women Asset Managers National Conference is an educational summit dedicated to connecting, uplifting, and celebrating powerful women in real estate. StudioSIX5, a women-led interior design firm, was honored to receive an invitation from their client, Greystar, to engage with potential prospects in commercial developments.
At this conference, we developed an email drip campaign aimed at fostering business connections and uncovering new opportunities. Attendees were invited to enter a spa giveaway raffle by simply leaving a business card at our booth. Each participant also received a thoughtfully curated swag package, featuring a women's kit filled with travel essentials.
Our marketing efforts were supported by an array of collateral, including eye-catching pop-up banners, comprehensive service pamphlets, and elegant business cards. This multi-faceted approach ensured that StudioSIX5 made a memorable impression on all conference attendees.
StudioSIX5 CREATE Newsletter
The CREATE newsletter offers a series of dedicated editions, each focusing on specific verticals within the commercial development sector. These include multifamily, senior living, active adult communities, hospitality, and student housing. Through these newsletters, we foster connections with prospects, current clients, and business partners. We share insights on our ongoing projects, highlight emerging design trends, and discuss relevant topics within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
CREATE Campaign Website Refresh
The CREATE campaign introduced a comprehensive website overhaul that prominently featured the CREATE splatter theme, providing detailed descriptions for each business vertical and service offered by the firm. Visually appealing paint splatters were incorporated throughout the site to enhance the depiction of interior design. This update involved refreshing fifteen pages and updating imagery and messaging across the entire website.
Client Interview Presentation
Applying the CREATE campaign to our client interview presentation was crucial. Our messaging needed to resonate with prospective clients and potential business partners. The central theme emphasized collaboration and the creation of memorable and marketing experiences for residents. It was an open invitation to develop and innovate together.
To support our main message, we included carefully procured case studies and slides. These elements were designed to identify potential challenges faced by clients and showcase our targeted solutions effectively. Check out the presentation here.
CREATE Visual Video
The concept of CREATE is both abstract and visually striking, so we decided to emphasize this theme in our website header introduction video. This captivating video showcases some of StudioSIX5's most notable projects, featuring the CREATE graphic dynamically stretching and breaking through the screen. This visual metaphor represents our commitment to pushing the boundaries of interior design and highlights our innovative approach. Chili Cook Off - Internal Event
The CREATE campaign entered new life into the annual StudioSIX5 chili cook-off, turning it into an event bursting with creativity and camaraderie. Participants showcased their culinary prowess by crafting a wide array of chili recipes, each one more inventive than the last. The campaign not only encouraged a spirit of fun and friendly competition but also fostered deeper connections among colleagues, making the cook-off a memorable and engaging experience for everyone involved.
