StudioSIX5

My Role: Starting as a Marketing Assistant and rising to Marketing Manager within five years, I fully immersed myself in the company's culture. I closely observed the designers' work and understood the owner's vision and direction for the firm. I achieved this through brainstorming sessions, interviews, observation, and surveys. My overarching strategy was to comprehend the nature of our work, translate it into client needs, and continuously question, "What makes this firm unique?" and "How can we market ourselves to stand out from our competition?".

Challenge: StudioSIX5 entered the market in 2003 as a specialist in senior living design and quickly became leaders in this niche. Their modern designs, which break away from conventional senior living aesthetics, have been widely successful. However, competitors have started to catch on, and the market is becoming more crowded. To stay ahead, StudioSIX5 aims to diversify into new verticals such as hospitality, student housing, and multi-family developments. Additionally, they aspire to evolve into a full-fledged creative agency offering services like visualization, marketing/branding, and IT solutions.

Solution: We needed to update the branding to be more modern and edgy and revise the messaging and tagline to reflect all interior design verticals and services. The new messaging had to clearly communicate the unique services offered by StudioSIX5 and how these services could enhance the marketability of client developments.

Application: The project encompassed a comprehensive branding package, including marketing materials, proposal assets, advertisements, social media campaigns, award submittals, an updated photography process, and interior signage. Additionally, we redesigned the internal CRM to align with the new brand identity.

By implementing these changes, StudioSIX5 not only reinforced its leadership in senior living design but also positioned itself as a versatile player ready to tackle new markets and offer a wider array of creative services.

The StudioSIX5 brand needed a modern refresh to better reflect its evolving identity. The updated logo showcases a sleek, contemporary type treatment, while the new tagline captures the diverse interior design verticals they now serve. Fresh, vibrant colors have been introduced to inject energy and excitement, aligning with their expansion into student housing and hospitality sectors.

Brochures And Qualification Package Materials

Brochures And Qualification Package Materials

To support our expanding services across various verticals, I created specialized brochures for senior living, student housing, hospitality, active adult communities, and multifamily housing. Each brochure showcases our tailored approach and unique services for each sector. The brochures also acted as a qualification package for RFPs that featured select projects, resumes, specialized services and organizational charts. The Design to Delivery campaign was a strategic series of advertisements featured in Texas Real Estate Business, Senior Housing Business, Student Housing Business, Environments For Aging, and Leading Age. Our goal was clear—to spread brand awareness across various commercial development verticals and reassure clients that we’ve got their entire project covered, from design to delivery.

The new StudioSIX5 branding update brought a fresh and modern look to the front desk and door signage. The front door displays an array of Raven brand colors in varying "skyscraper" shapes, reflecting the stunning skyline visible as you enter. Inside, the front desk features a sleek, clean design with an inset that enhances its sophisticated appearance.

#SummerofSIX5 Campaign

#SummerofSIX5 Campaign

The #summerofsix5 campaign was an exciting summer initiative designed to boost employee engagement and enhance brand visibility. Recognizing that many employees take leave during the summer, we encouraged them to take a branded koozie along on their adventures. Employees tagged their photos with the campaign hashtag, and we shared these images weekly on our social media platforms and in team meetings.
